If you don’t lean left or right, what are you, politically?

Our political beliefs can be summed up with “Don’t hurt people, and don’t take their stuff.”. We attract mostly centrists, independents, and libertarians to our family membership. Our founder leans towards a libertarianism that hopes for everyone to be free and capable of working well together so we don’t need government help. (She doesn’t support fringe libertarian views like ones that believe that 13 year olds are capable of making decisions to sleep with 30 year olds.)

Does everyone have to agree to a tribe?

We’ll explain this more in the online portal, but the quick answer is ‘no’. We’re each looking for our five people based on your own values, season of life, and the skills each person brings to the tribe. This will look different for everyone!

Do I need a family or spouse to join?

Heck no! Everyone is important to our family no matter if you’re single, widowed, engaged, still in college, grandparents, or wherever else on life’s journey. Every family has a bit of everything going on all the time and all those people are still members of their family, just like you are here!

What’s combative politics?

Martin Luther King Jr. is our favorite example. His movement kept pushing for their rights in peaceful manners that shocked the world. When everyone saw the horrors of our government going against peaceful people who just wanted equal treatment and weren’t going to stop until they won; the narrative flipped and they won!
